Door in Venice-Italy
Artist

Medium
Painting - Watercolor On 190 Lb Paper
Description
While riding a gondola in Venetian canals I came across this door which was having exquisite carved iron gate. Over the time the iron doors are catching rust and with flood the water touches the door leaving fresh evidence of moss. Inspite of the peeling plaster, streaked paint and rusting metal caused by Acqua Alta (High Water) the doors in Venice will always catch the fancy of an artist !
This is an original watercolor by Geeta Biswas and also a featured artwork on FAA.

Geeta, Excellent painting of this old building with the very old door weather beating from the canals of Venetian. Love the iron gate and the scene of the great old architecture of this door and its surroundings. Great colors and details have gone into this painting of this vintage doorway. Excellent painting, voted, google, tweet and FB promoted
