Lilium 'Stargazer' (the Stargazer lily) is a hybrid lily of the Oriental group. Oriental lilies are known for their fragrant perfume, blooming mid-to-late summer.
This is a still life study of lilies. While I was about to complete the two blooming lilies the third one started unfolding. I have tried to make the background colorful with various shades of blue,green and yellow.
This watercolor painting is an original, a contemporary art and signed by the artist Geeta Biswas.
